Construction Notice - Spring & Summer of 2010
Beginning in May, Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation will be improving a 9-acre portion of the park. Improvements include the creation of a trail from the edge of the Christensen Shipyard sidewalk to the Kaiser Tower and interpretive display. Additional work will be done to provide beach access near the Kaiser Tower and the addition of new picnic tables near the shipyard, overlooking the Columbia River. The project is anticipated to be substantially complete in July.

In addition, the boat launch parking lot and ramp will receive much anticipated paving improvements, new striping, and signage.

This 26-acre site offers walking trails, play equipment, picnic shelters, boat launch, and restrooms. Marine Park is part of the Waterfront River Renaissance Trail, which connects the site to Waterfront Park.
