National wildlife refuge located on Columbia River in
southeast Clark County. Most of the refuge was bought by Corps of Engineers
to mitigate for dam impacts. 5.5 miles of hiking/biking trails located on shoreline dike; other public
access restricted. Refuge receives heavy use by Canada Geese and other
migratory waterfowl. Gibbons Creek flows through property.
