Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission

The Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission is comprised of 13 members: five are appointed by the Vancouver City Council; five by the Board of Clark County Commissioners; and one each from the Vancouver and Evergreen School districts and Parks Foundation liason.

The commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council and Clark County Commissioners in matters relating to: planning, acquisition, development and operation of neighborhood, community and regional parks; greenways; open space; trails; recreation programs; and cultural programs and activities.

The commission meetings are open to the public and are scheduled for the third Friday of each month from noon-3 p.m. Please click on the "commission meetings" link above for information regarding the location, the agenda and for past minutes. Call 619-1110 for additional information.
