Get involved in this important Partnership effort by attending meetings and events, working on volunteer projects and learning more about Vancouver Lake and its watershed.

Interested in volunteering? Here are some other ways to get started:

• Get involved in monitoring Vancouver Lake's water quality by becoming a volunteer for Clark County's Clean Water Program. Call 360-397-6118 Ext. 4282 for information. 

• Become a Watershed Steward through WSUV Clark County Extension and get involved in stream restoration. Call 360-397-6060 Ext. 7703 for information.

• Get involved in a Salmon Creek Watershed Council activity.

• Get involved in a Vancouver Watersheds Council activity. 

• Get involved with Vancouver's Urban Forestry program.

• Help with Parkland Stewardship. Volunteer options include but are not limited to removal of non-native invasive species, litter pickup, park signage, wildlife monitoring and trail projects. Opportunities are available to groups or individuals of all ages. The volunteer coordinator at Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation will help you find an appropriate project for you and/or your group. Call 360-619-1124.

• To help keep nearby highway clean of litter, learn about the state Adopt-a-Highway program.
